Matthew Borowick is a versatile, award-winning photographer based in New York. Matthew’s style blends elements of fine art, photojournalism and drone photography. His work spans portraiture, editorial, travel and adventure photography. 


Matthew graduated from the International Center of Photography with a certificate in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, and from Corcoran College of Art & Design with his BFA. Matthew's work has been exhibited in the United States, Australia, and China most recently at the HeadOn Photo festival in Sydney, Australia and The 18th Pingyao International Photography Festival in Pingyao, China. He was selected for an honorable mention by the Moscow International Photography Awards in 2015 and 2014 as well as being selected to be part of American Photography's 30th edition and 35th edition in 2018 respectively. Matthew’s editorial photography has appeared on National Geographic Travel Magazine, Time.com, LATimes.com, Politico, The Guardian, Runners World Magazine, The Reynolds Journalism Institute, and The Nature Conservancy Magazine. 


Matthew has most recently worked as a drone pilot on the Hulu feature film Jacinta in 2020, and as a set photographer on the Sundance Film Festival finalist Superior in 2021.
