Matthew Borowick is a New York-based photographer whose work moves between the earth, the sky, and the space in between. Shooting from the ground, and from drones, he pursues a single obsession: finding the moments when a landscape reveals something about itself that is only visible from exactly the right angle, altitude, or light.
His travel and adventure work has taken him across Iceland, British Columbia, Hong Kong, and beyond, his images have appeared in National Geographic Travel, Time, the Los Angeles Times, and The Guardian, among others. He has exhibited internationally at the HeadOn Photo Festival in Sydney and the Pingyao International Photography Festival in China, and has been recognized by American Photography in both its 30th and 35th editions.
He is a graduate of the International Center of Photography and holds a BFA from the Corcoran College of Art & Design.
His prints are available in limited editions made to live on walls, not hard drives.
